Valerie is a full-time landscape painter who portrays her personal experiences in rural Canada on her canvas. As she hikes and kayaks the wetlands of the Canadian Shield, she feels driven to document the ever-diminishing Canadian wilderness with her realistic interpretations of its landscapes. The thoughtful application of acrylics onto canvas demonstrates her fascination with reflections, movement, texture, colour variations, and water transparency. Valerie has attained the prestigious, Elected Member status, from the Society of Canadian Artists. She is an award-winning landscape painter with work in personal collections across Canada and the United States and is represented by galleries in Alberta and Ontario.
